Beth Israel Auxilary
All members of the Beth Israel Congregation, women and men alike, are also considered members of the Beth Israel Auxiliary.
The objective of the Beth Israel Auxiliary is to encourage Jewish traditions by promoting the welfare of the congregation and its religious school and by fostering a sense of communal responsibility. The Auxiliary operates in conjunction with the Board of Directors of Beth Israel Congregation and its various committees representing all members and their families.
Some of the services that the Auxiliary provides include:
- Sabbath and special Holiday festivities for adults and youth
- Congregational dinners and other social gatherings
- Childcare for various congregation functions
- Purim baskets for our senior members
- Sanctuary enhancement such as flowers on the bimah for holidays and special occasions
- Support for all programs promoting Jewish education and cultural activities.
Beth Israel Auxiliary members are encouraged to participate in its fundraising activities in order to provide these services.
