Beth Israel Auxiliary
All members of the Beth Israel Congregation, women and men alike, can become members of the Beth Israel Auxiliary.
The objective of Beth Israel Auxiliary is to encourage Jewish traditions and to supply the necessities to do that. We promote the welfare of the congregation and its religious school and foster a sense of communal responsibility.
Some of the services that Auxiliary provides include: snacks for Talmud Torah classes and food for all parties; Purim baskets for seniors; babysitters for various congregation functions; dinners for Congregational gatherings and kiddushim following Saturday morning services; gifts to bar/bat mitzvahs; and flowers on the bimah for holidays and special occasions.
We sponsor and encourage youth activities with the idea that the synagogue is our second home.
